1. Strong Unix base O/S experience or proven ability to pick up Linux quickly
2. Ability to do scripting (any one of Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python etc.)
3. Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
4. Familiarity with programming languages Java or C++ or C
5. Ability to write complex SQL queries is added advantage
6. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
7. Strong understanding of support – tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics
8. A passion towards problem-solving
9. Strong decision-making ability
10. Must be able to think proactively; excellent follow-through and attention to details.
11. Willing to work in 24×7 on-call support (on rotation basis).
